300 years ago an Orcish horde swept across the lands of Tyellador, expelling the Dwarves from their homes in the Mizimînbad mountains and destabilizing the Second Great and Bountiful Human Empire that had ruled over Bhenor for a thousand years.
The Dwarves retreated back to their ancestral cities in Kibilînbad across the Rúfshin Desert. The Second Great and Bountiful Human Empire crumbled into warring states, and chaos reigned for a hundred years.
Peace has covered the land for many generations. Great wars are things remembered only by books and the longer-lived races. But now a rumor grows of a shadow in the North, whispers of a new horde to the East. The Dwarves are secluded in their halls of stone, the Elves distant in their ancient forests. Powers long since forgotten are… awakening.
And who will stand in their way?
Tyellador is an open-world homebrew setting that is still under construction for the D&D 3.5 system. The campaign takes place on a continent about the size of Europe, and attempts to portray the “journey is half the fun” feel of Tolkein.
